Ceará Tech Park is presented to Data Center investors in Spain
Aiming to transform the Caucaia-Pecém axis into an area of vital geopolitical and economic importance, Brazilian authorities are seeking to attract foreign investment by proving that the country has the capacity to manage its own technological material base. This new diplomatic and commercial vision aims to place Brazil in an increasingly leading role in the race for technological development and innovation.
The idea seeks to move away from a structure of mere corporate storage warehouses, grounding itself in a diversified systemic architecture. The enterprise’s framework was designed to integrate hyperscale facilities in the Export Processing Zone (EPZ), with capillary hubs to support new telecommunications, such as 6G networks and the Internet of Things (IoT). The arrangement encourages a symbiosis with the academic and research environment, fostering a robust production chain around information technology.
The showcase chosen to present this offensive was the 20th edition of the Multi Conference on Computer Science and Information Systems (MCCSIS), organized by the International Association for Development of the Information Society (IADIS) in the city of Valencia, Spain. Before an audience of international experts and managers, Ceará’s competitive advantage was anchored in its clean energy matrix, combined with the submarine fiber optic network that lands at the Port of Pecém.
The ultimate goal of the government and the researchers involved is to consolidate the state and, consequently, the country, as an essential player in the global data flow, driving structural innovation and solid long-term economic opportunities.
