Eurostat report shows Brazil among the top ten trading partners of the European bloc

The recently published statistical yearbook “Key figures on Europe – 2026 edition” reveals that Brazil consolidated its position in the group of the top ten partners of the European Union in the international trade of goods in 2025. The survey highlights the Brazilian market as the only representative from South America at the top of this ranking, operating alongside the United States, China, Switzerland, and India.

In 2025, the Brazilian market was the destination for 1.6% of all European exports directed to countries outside the bloc. On the import side, the flow proved to be even larger: Brazil was the origin of 1.8% of all goods acquired by Europeans throughout the year.

Beyond the import and export dynamics, the Eurostat survey analyzes recent socioeconomic transformations on the European continent. It demonstrates economic stabilization with the control of inflation, which stood at 2.5% in 2025, population growth, reaching 450.6 million inhabitants, the rapid expansion of the tourism sector, with over 3 billion overnight stays recorded, and the advancement of the green agenda.
