Business mission in Valencia brings Brazilian companies closer to the European Union business environment
Between October 5 and 8, 2026, the Spanish city of Valencia is hosting the Valencia 2026 Business Mission, an initiative that brings together business leaders to discuss foreign trade, investments, innovation, and the international projection of companies. The law firm Brasil Salomão, which has an office in Goiânia, is part of the delegation through Fernando Senise, coordinator of its operation in Portugal, who since the 5th has been following a program focused on bringing Brazilian business leaders closer to the European bloc market.
The mission is organized by the business clubs of the World Trade Center in Lisbon (Portugal), Ribeirão Preto (Brazil), and Antwerp (Belgium), in partnership with Invest in Valencia. The itinerary includes visits to local institutions, corporate meetings, and dialogue with key players in the Valencian innovation ecosystem, including the Port of Valencia, the Polytechnic University of Valencia, the City Council, and the Chamber of Commerce, as well as entrepreneurship spaces such as La Harinera and Insomnia Coworking. The agenda also includes a meeting with the company CBRE, an audience with the Brazilian honorary consul, participation in the REDIT Summit, and joint actions with Valencia Innovation Capital and Cabka Spain, in Paterna, covering everything from company setup and investment attraction to applied research and the circular economy.
For Brasil Salomão, its presence in Valencia connects with a trajectory that began in Ribeirão Preto and expanded to Portugal in 2018, where it maintains an office in Lisbon and is among the founders of the WTC Lisboa Business Club. According to Senise, direct observation of the environment in which Brazilian companies wish to invest facilitates monitoring expansion strategies from a broader market perspective and the choices that precede opening an international operation. In his view, the selection of partners, installation site, corporate structure, and commercial ties must be weighed together with each company’s goals. From a strategic standpoint, the firm views Portugal as a potential gateway to the European continent and sees the mission as a way to extend this dialogue to other dynamics in the Iberian Peninsula, strengthening the network of contacts between both sides of the Atlantic.
