Brazil’s Northeast Takes Off as a New Hub for Investment and Air Connectivity
The meeting brought together business leaders from the energy, transport, engineering, telecommunications, digitalization, technology, financial, and industrial sectors.
Brazil’s Northeast region has been improving its international air connectivity and consolidating its strength as a tourist destination amid the momentum the sector is experiencing in Brazil, which surpassed the mark of 7 million international travelers between January and September—a record figure.
The Northeast is also one of the country’s main investment hubs in the renewable energy sector and is increasingly positioning itself as a major center for green hydrogen production, a key industry in the energy transition, according to experts at the forum “Brazil in Growth: Air Connectivity and Tourism,” organized by Agencia EFE in São Paulo.
