This executive lunch, organized by CEBRI in partnership with the Delegation of the European Union and ApexBrasil, will bring together stakeholders from the public and private sectors for a strategic dialogue on the future of trade and geo-economic relations between Brazil, Mercosur, and the European Union in the context of discussions regarding the signing of the Mercosur-EU Agreement and the reshaping of global trade dynamics. We will be joined by special guest Augusto Castro, Head of the Extra-Regional Trade Negotiations Unit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) and negotiator for the Mercosur–EU Agreement.
The meeting will provide a high-level forum for exchanging perspectives on the prospects for strengthening trade relations and investment flows between Brazil and the European Union. Organized under the Chatham House Rule and with the active participation of all guests, the event will seek to foster an analysis of the challenges in the current geoeconomic landscape and in the current bilateral relationship, as well as concrete opportunities for closer ties in the context of global transformations in trade, sustainability, and technology.
