ApexBrasil expands international procurement panel with focus on European Union government purchasing
ApexBrasil has rolled out a significant update to its tool for identifying business opportunities in the international market, the Export Opportunities Panel for Foreign Governments. The platform now also brings together public procurement notices from the 27 member states of the European Union, the four nations linked to the European Free Trade Association — Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein — as well as tender processes from a number of other non-European countries. As a result, the tool significantly expands its reach as a channel for diversifying Brazilian exports to the international public sector.
From a functional standpoint, the panel offers filtering mechanisms by product or service type, country of origin, purchasing agency, and value range, providing greater precision for exporting companies screening opportunities. The tool now also features automatic translation of tender titles—originally published in various languages—conversion of bid values into US dollars, and weekly updates of available data. In addition, the system provides indicators on which purchasing entities concentrate the largest volume of acquisitions and which offer longer deadlines for proposal submission, supporting the commercial planning of interested companies and helping bring Brazilian stakeholders closer to their European counterparts.
