EU-BRAZIL Investment Dialogue

Jointly organized by ApexBrasil and the European Union, in collaboration with the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), the Brazil-European Union Investment Forum brings together leaders from the public and private sectors to strengthen the bilateral economic dialogue and promote strategic trade and investment opportunities between the two regions.

In a context of geopolitical transformations and the transition towards more sustainable and digital economies, Brazil and the European Union reaffirm their partnership around shared values, innovation, sustainable development, and international cooperation. The Forum is part of the European Union-Brazil Investment Dialogue agenda and seeks to contribute to the implementation of the Mercosur-European Union Agreement.

This panel will explore ways to facilitate flows and overcome obstacles. Topics include EU-Brazil trade, the sustainability framework (including taxonomy, emissions trading systems, and carbon leakage), as well as green finance mechanisms.
