The event brought together public and private sector representatives, including the president of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), Laudemir M\u00fcller, and the European Union Ambassador to Brazil, Francisco Andr\u00e9, to discuss the practical impacts of environmental and social requirements on bilateral trade.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">M\u00fcller argued that the ESG agenda is directly linked to the ability of Brazilian companies to differentiate themselves in the international market, citing as an emblematic example the work of Amazonian extractivist cooperatives exporting Brazil nuts, an initiative that, according to him, combines economic development, social inclusion, and environmental preservation. Ambassador Francisco Andr\u00e9 reinforced this perspective by stating that the economic agenda can no longer be addressed separately from the environmental and social agenda, further advocating that supply chains between the two blocs advance toward greater transparency and resilience.
